2011 ANNUAL BANNER MISSION
The 2011 Banner Mission was another great success with a good attendance every night. This year the Mission started on Sunday 6th November through to Remembrance Sunday on 13th November.
The proceeds this year were donated to RNLI, Macmillan Nurses, and Methodist Mission Society Ireland supporting missionary work in Zambia. Representatives from the charities attended the Annual County Grand Lodge Carol Service on 3rd December and each received a cheque for £1,000.00.
Thanks to all those who took part in the Mission and in particular our guest speakers for the week, Mr. George Conn, Rev Hazel Hicks, Rev Eleanor Hayden, Rev Helen Steed, Rev Kenneth Hall, Bro Kenneth Rutledge and Bro Jim Emery.
